Hot weather
For no apparent reason, the weather has been getting terribly hot for the past 2 days. I believe this will persist. So is this considered summer? It's so sickening being sweaty, stinky, sticky and tired all day long. Yup hot weather makes me tired and less energetic... or maybe it's the thought of work tmr that gives me this lethargic feeling.
Look on the bright side bro... office has air-con, my house doesn't.
I'm beginning to get more impressed on myself, having went through the "almost impossible" in the army. Like those times when we would go outfield and set up camou net for the first day of mission, and then we would hide under the net and yes in the hot hot sun and still be able to fall asleep. Or hiding inside the hot and stuffy turret, using the control panel as my pillow, and after that waking up with cramps and banging my head here and there. Or getting interrupted in my sleep then carrying all the barang barang to the PC vehicle for breifing in a groogy state...
Man...I'm a genius to be able to do this. Wrong, to correct myself...to have done that.
Every afternoon, walking to China Square for a little shopping during lunch time, with the afternoon sun piercing into my skin, yes, I would not be able to do those things I've done the previous 2 years anymore...
A little chat with my friend ytd really set me into thinking if I'm disheartened or simply too lazy. Maybe 50-50 each? Perhaps I'll just concentrate on my work first then see how things go. Not that I'm thinking too much, but it's not easy to find someone that you can click well since the beginning... And I'll never forget the 2 scenarios...
Case No 1
My fellow specialist...I really can't take it when the very first day, PS plus PC plus KC give us that stunning look and said," How come my specs all have no girlfriend ?" (Or something like that) How about when they bet who would have a girlfriend first? Fun eh? Laugh people...Laugh...
Case No 2
The well known story when I got laughed by an Indian soldier that I have no life! Reason being I have no girlfriend and he has two! I know they might be having sex all day long (or maybe a threesome) and to him that's LIFE, while to us playing PC games is LIFE. But yeah...he might have a point there, and I'm certain he has hit a nerve there. We have different perspectives towards life so no one is wrong, but why do I get so disturbed over what he said till now? The thing is I can't even remember his face...
Hence, I have no wish to stay in this family of singlehood for any longer.
