 CareCore National Achieves Secure Federated Single Sign-On in Only 14 Days With PingFederate

 Ping Identity Corporation today announced CareCore National, the
nation's fastest-growing diagnostic imaging benefits management
provider, has gone live with PingFederate. Needing to quickly enable
federated single sign-on to a large health plan, CareCore deployed
PingFederate and delivered a secure and seamless end user experience
in less than two weeks.





  CareCore's services allow health plans to better manage the
increasingly complex and costly world of diagnostic imaging. With over
30 million lives under care, CareCore's clients include some of the
country's largest payors. The CEO of one such health plan recently
challenged CareCore's CEO to implement federated single sign-on so
that patients, providers and plan employees already logged into the
payor's site could seamlessly access CareCore's Web portal without
having to re-authenticate. The challenge included a drop-dead delivery
date.





  "We had an extreme timeline to deliver federated single sign-on,
and the results speak for themselves. First we identified SAML as the
standard to commit to, and then identified Ping Identity as a leader

time-to-production. With the Ping Identity team we successfully tied
two organizations together in two weeks and delivered a seamless web
experience for end users."
